Hollands Lawn Care

About Hollands Lawn Care

East of Sioux City the Loess Hills rise in soft folds — silt the prairie wind piled up here over thousands of years and never got around to flattening. Hollands Lawn Care works the yards that sit on those slopes, cutting in passes that follow the contour instead of arguing with it and trimming tight where turf meets fence post and gravel. In late August the sun drops behind the ridgeline and a lawn mowed that morning holds the last of the color longer than anything else in the yard. Spring and fall bring the heavier rounds: cleanups, overseeding the thin patches, feeding grass that has to get through a Siouxland July and a January that means what it says. What's left when the trailer pulls away is a yard that reads as cared for from the street, and that is the whole job.
