Lawn Bros

About Lawn Bros

On a July Saturday the bandshell at Grandview Park pushes music out across a hillside covered in blankets, and every lawn in the blocks around it lies under the same hard sun. Lawn Bros mows through that heat — weekly cuts kept high enough to shade the roots, string trimming around play sets and light poles, edging that gives a sidewalk its defined line back. Weeds move quickly in a Sioux City summer and so does the truck, treating them before they get a foothold in the good grass. Hedges get shaped when they need it, and clippings leave with the trailer rather than washing into the street. By evening the yards are quiet and even, ready for whatever the next thunderhead brings in off the plains.
