About Steendam Landscape Solutions

October turns the shelterbelts around Sioux Center to rust and yellow, and the wind sees to the rest. Steendam Landscape Solutions spends those weeks on leaf removal and fall cleanup — hauling off what the cottonwoods and maples drop, taking the grass down short for winter, aerating and overseeding so spring has something to work with. The rest of the year runs on mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, weed control and fresh mulch in the beds. Out here the calendar is written by the ground rather than the wall, and there is no arguing with it. Following it closely is what keeps a yard looking looked-after in a town where people notice.
