About J J's Lawn Care

On a July afternoon out here you can watch the weather coming for an hour before it lands — thunderheads stacking over the South Dakota line, cloud shadows sliding across the fields west of town. J J's Lawn Care mows in that window, moving through Sioux Center yards ahead of the rain, trimming and edging and clearing the walks before the first drops hit. Grass comes on fast after a storm in this country, so the schedule holds steady: weekly cuts, fertilizing, weeds kept down, aeration when the ground asks for it. Spring cleanup opens the year and leaf removal closes it. The good moment is driving back down the block afterward and seeing the whole row of it done.
