About Down To Earth Lawn Care

April in Sioux Center smells like thawed ground — the black dirt of Sioux County coming awake, water running in the ditches along the section lines. Down To Earth Lawn Care starts there, raking out the winter's matting, pulling cores from soil that has spent five months frozen, spreading seed into ground still cool to the touch. From then on it is mowing and trimming on schedule, fertilizer timed to the growth, weeds handled before they can set. By the time the corn stands tall past the last row of houses, the yards look the way the season promised. Then autumn arrives, the leaves are gathered, and it all gets put to bed again.
