Dokter's Lawn Care

About Dokter's Lawn Care

There's an hour in Sioux Center, just before supper, when the light runs low along Central Avenue and every lawn in town shows its stripes. Dokter's Lawn Care works toward that hour — mowing on a steady weekly rhythm, trimming close around mailbox posts and foundations, edging the walks until the concrete reads as a hard line again. Fertilizing and weed control through the growing months, leaves hauled off when the boxelders let go, mulch refreshed in the beds, clippings blown back off the drive. Northwest Iowa asks a lot of a yard: hard sun, harder wind, a short bright season. Meeting that ask, week after week, is the whole point.
