About Loeschen Tree Service, LLC

North of Sibley the land tips just barely upward toward Hawkeye Point — the highest ground in Iowa, and still low enough that the wind never has to work hard to cross it. Loeschen Tree Service, LLC knows what that wind does to an open yard: it piles snow against the one windbreak row of cedars and spruce a farmstead planted decades back, and buries the drive on the lee side by sunup. They clear driveways and walks around Sibley before the Osceola County elevator lights come on, working the same eye for a property's wind lines that keeps its trees standing straight against every gust off the prairie. A cleared lane to the road, cut close along the shelterbelt, is the small daily proof that a place this exposed can still be gotten to. There's a particular pride in a driveway scraped to bare gravel while the rest of the section still sits drifted white.
