Nuehring's Lawn & Tree Service

About Nuehring's Lawn & Tree Service

Sheffield stays quiet even by Franklin County standards, a handful of streets built around an old rail depot that doesn't see much more than freight traffic anymore. Nuehring's Lawn & Tree Service works those few blocks close, one driveway at a time, before the short daylight of December runs out. Snow tends to settle evenly across the open ground around Sheffield rather than drift hard against anything, which keeps the farm lanes toward Chapin and Dows steady, unhurried work rather than a race. Residential streets get finished first, then the stretch of county road nearest Hampton before the last daylight closes out. Sheffield's handful of porch lights come on over a short run of streets already clear under an early winter sky.
