About Wayne County Builders

When the May rains soak the clay hills around Seymour, the grass seems to leap overnight, and the mowers have to go out and bring the yards back into line. Wayne County Builders takes its name from the county that stretches along the Missouri line, and in Seymour it brings a builder's love of square corners to lawn care. Gravel roads run out from town between fencerows and timber, but inside the town the work is about straight lines along drives and foundations, cut and trimmed so a house sits right on its lot. After a storm clears and the sun comes back, a just-mowed yard steams faintly in the warmth and looks brand new. It's the same satisfaction as a finished frame: everything plumb, everything where it belongs.
