Split Willow Services

About Split Willow Services

A year in Runnells splits neatly in two, and Split Willow Services works both halves. From the first warm week of April, when the willows along the roadside ditches flush yellow-green, there are yards to mow and trim on the town's quiet blocks. Then the calendar tips, frost silvers the grass, and the job becomes snow removal, clearing drives and front steps so neighbors can get out the door. Runnells sits right where the Des Moines suburbs thin into farmland, and both its lawns and its walks deserve a steady hand. Few things satisfy like a yard trimmed tight in July, unless it's a walk shoveled clean on a January morning.
