About Dump & Roll LLC

The first sound of a snow day in Runnells is often a diesel engine turning over in the dark, the sound of snow removal getting underway. Dump & Roll LLC brings that work to this town in the southeast corner of Polk County, near enough to feel the city's pull yet ringed by fields and wooded draws that hold the cold. After a storm drops its load overnight, the job is opening driveways so the morning commute can roll and the school bus can make its run. The blade cuts a clean path, the windrow gets shoved well clear, and somebody steps out with a coffee mug to a drive that's ready to go. Heavy, plain, necessary winter work, and there's real pleasure in watching a street wake up open.
