About B & K Landscaping & Lawn Service

The roads around Rock Valley run in a grid as straight as the section lines that laid them out, and B & K Landscaping & Lawn Service works that grid in winter with the same no-wasted-passes method it mows it with come summer. The Rock River cuts through just north of town, and the crew clears the bridge approaches there before the first commuter traffic of the day, since that's where ice sets fastest. From town the routes run out toward Hull and Ireton, one flat farm lane after another laid square against the horizon. Main Street shops open onto a grid holding nothing but clean pavement in every direction it runs.
