Green Grass Lawn Care

About Green Grass Lawn Care

Prole is a crossroads community in Warren County, a few homes and a lot of sky just south of the Des Moines metro, where the corn rows begin almost at the back step. Green Grass Lawn Care keeps the yards out here living up to the business's own name: thick, even, and the shade of green that glows at dusk. Come a July evening, after the mowing is done and the trimmer has outlined every tree trunk, the fireflies rise out of the fresh-cut grass and drift toward the fields. It is a simple pleasure — a cool lawn, a long view, the light going soft — and it begins with grass that has been well looked after. Out where town gives way to farm, that small square of green is a welcome thing.
