H&K Lawn Care and Small Engine Repair

About H&K Lawn Care and Small Engine Repair

February in northwest Iowa is bench season. Blades come off, cables get replaced, carburetors get cleaned, and by the time the frost is out of the ground the machines are ready to run — that is the small engine repair half of H&K Lawn Care and Small Engine Repair. Then the mowing begins, up and down Primghar's streets and out on the acreages toward Sanborn and Paullina, with trimming around posts and a clean edge along every drive. Two halves of one job: keep the equipment sharp, keep the grass even. When the last leaves are hauled off in November, the work turns back toward the shop.
