About Hauling Hounds LLC

Postville's Main Street runs narrow between old brick storefronts, with nowhere for a plowed pile of snow to sit once it's off the sidewalk, so Hauling Hounds LLC hauls it out — load by load, truck by truck — before the shops unlock. The crew starts on that commercial block downtown, then works outward to residential driveways on the streets climbing toward the bluff behind town. What can't be pushed to a curb gets loaded instead and carried clear of Postville, out past the last houses on the road toward Monona. It's a two-step job in a town built on a hillside — clear it, then carry it away, since gravity alone won't finish the job on a grade like this. Main Street opens for the day onto bare brick sidewalks and curbs stacked clean instead of buried.
