About Total Quality Inc

In April the timber along the Des Moines River valley below Polk City goes from gray to green in about a week, and the lawns in town do the same. Total Quality Inc starts the season there — the first cut of the year, the cleanup of everything winter left behind, fertilizer laid down while the soil is still holding rain. After that comes the long rhythm of mowing, trimming and edging, week after week, through the oak-shaded yards near the old main street and the newer drives out toward the highway. Grass grows fast in Iowa loam, and staying ahead of it is mostly a matter of arriving on the day you said you would. The payoff is a yard that looks deliberate from the road.
