About Miller Industries LLC

Pilot Mound takes its name from a hill that early travelers steered by on the open prairie, a landmark you could find even when every other mark on the land had disappeared. In a Boone County snowstorm, that kind of disappearing is easy to picture: fence lines gone, ditches filled, the road a guess between white fields. Miller Industries brings the landmarks back, plowing drives and clearing walks so the shape of the place shows again beneath the snow. On a still morning after a storm, with chimney smoke rising straight up into the cold, the cleared drives and paths make the town look found again. A town named for a guide deserves paths you can follow, and after the plow comes through, it has them.
