2M Land Management

About 2M Land Management

Persia lies in the rolling western Iowa country of Harrison County, where the land is seldom flat and nearly every yard has a slope to reckon with. 2M Land Management takes that ground as it comes, mowing across the grades in summer, trimming along fence lines and banks, and leaving a lawn that looks smooth from the road even where the hill says otherwise. Then the year turns, and the work becomes snow removal: clearing drives that climb and dip so a car can make it up on an icy morning. It is land management in the plain sense of the words — the ground kept usable and good-looking in whichever month asks for help. On a clear evening, with the hills going violet to the west, a well-kept slope is a fine thing to look at.
