Perry Turf and Seed

About Perry Turf and Seed

October in Perry cools the soil just as the grass stops racing, which is the right moment to think about seed. Perry Turf and Seed spends that stretch in the yards along the north edge of town, where the thin patches under the shade trees have been waiting all summer for attention — overseeded, then mowed at a height that keeps the stand even while it fills in. Through the warm months the work is the ordinary rhythm of turf: cut so the grass shades its own roots, trim clean around the beds, edge where lawn meets walk. The reward arrives the following April, when the bare spots green up with everything else and no one can tell where they were. Grass is a slow argument, and this is how it gets won.
