About Aspen Outdoor Services

Wind comes off Lake Red Rock in September with a coolness the rest of the county doesn't have yet, and the lawns on the south side of Pella feel it first. Aspen Outdoor Services mows, trims and edges yards through that turn of the year, when growth slows but the cleanup work picks up and every mowing pass doubles as a tidying pass. Early autumn is honest work — the light comes in low across the grass and shows every line, so the lines have to be right. Beds get trimmed back to a clean margin, walks get edged, and the drive is cleared of anything the blades threw. There's a plain pleasure in leaving a property looking settled before the cold. Service runs from Pella toward Pleasantville, Knoxville and the lake-road addresses in between.
