Snip & Slip Services

About Snip & Slip Services

Drive out of Ottumwa on the county blacktop and the valley opens into field and sky, the sort of country where an August wind combs the grass all afternoon without stopping. Snip & Slip Services keeps that same even line closer to home — grass held at one height, the trimmer run around every post and mailbox, the drive swept clear before the truck pulls away. It is plain work with a plain reward: you turn in at evening and the yard simply reads as tended. Summers in Wapello County come on fast, a fresh flush of growth after each storm rolls through, so the schedule keeps its rhythm and the lawns keep theirs. Ottumwa yards first, then the towns close by — Agency, Eldon, Bloomfield and Albia.
