About K&T Lawn Services, LLC

Late on a June afternoon the heat stacks up over the ridges east of town, and you can stand in a yard and watch a thunderhead decide whether it is coming to Ossian or sliding off toward the Turkey River. K&T Lawn Services, LLC reads that sky the way everyone in Winneshiek County does: get the mowing finished, get the trimmer around the fence posts and the mailbox, and be loading the trailer when the first fat drops ring off the water tower. What gets left behind is a yard with its shoulders squared — even height, tidy borders, the grass standing back up by evening. Ossian is small enough that the work happens in front of people, block by block, and that is its own kind of accountability. Between cuts they take on the spring and fall cleanups, hauling away leaves and winter litter so the turf comes in thick. Ordinary work, done street by street, and it makes a whole town look looked-after.
