Dewitt & Sons Mowing

About Dewitt & Sons Mowing

There is one week every June, right after a stretch of rain, when the grass in Oskaloosa grows faster than anyone alive can mow it. Dewitt & Sons Mowing spends that week the way it spends all the others — deck running from the first dry hour, string trimmer along the fences and foundations, edger down the walks and drives. Alleys and back lots get the same attention as the front yard, since that is where a job is either finished or it is not. Clippings and, later in the year, leaves get cleared in their turn. The payoff is straightforward: a block that looks even from one property line to the next.
