About De Jong Lawn & Landscape

April in Mahaska County is a negotiation. Cold rain one week, then a run of blue days, and all at once the road north toward Pella is lined with things in bloom. De Jong Lawn & Landscape opens the year in that weather — spring cleanup first, then the first cut, trimming and edging, mulch laid into beds while the soil still smells like rain. Summer turns it into a rhythm: mow, trim, feed, keep the weeds honest, aerate and overseed as the heat lets go. Oskaloosa yards are deep and generous with room for shade, and they answer well to being tended on time.
