About Blakely’s Tree Service LLC

From the clock tower over Osceola's town square, you can watch the snow start well before it reaches the ground, a gray curtain moving in off the flat Clarke County fields west of town. Blakely's Tree Service LLC works this county seat through the winter with an eye trained on branches as much as pavement, since a heavy wet snow bends limbs low over driveways and walks long before it's finished falling. Out past the square, the bur oaks and cottonwoods ringing West Lake Park carry the weight of every storm visibly, ice-glossed against a white sky. The interstate hum along I-35 never quite stops, but the streets closer to the square go silent and white until this crew works them clear, block by block. A cleared drive under an untouched, snow-heavy tree is only half the job here, the other half is watching what's overhead.
