Vugteveen Lawn Service

About Vugteveen Lawn Service

Orleans lies on the narrow ground between Big Spirit and East Okoboji, so summer arrives by water here — boats out early, the lake wind carrying the smell of it up the shore streets. Vugteveen Lawn Service keeps the lake-country lawns ready for it, mowing on a schedule that respects weekends at the cabin and holds the line clear to Labor Day. Trimming and edging finish the ground around dock paths, retaining walls and the shade under the old oaks. When the lakes empty out in October, cleanup takes over: leaves off, lawns cut down, everything squared away before the ice. Dickinson County grass works hard for three short months, and it shows when someone keeps after it.
