About B & Z Outdoor Solutions

Out where Orange City's last streets give way to Sioux County section-line roads, the wind has nothing to slow it down, and it piles snow into drifts that can bury a driveway overnight. B & Z Outdoor Solutions works that open edge of town, where farmstead lanes and acreage driveways catch every gust off the bare fields. The land here is flat enough to see three miles of white in every direction come January, and a plowed lane through it feels like a small victory against the sky. This crew reads the wind the way a sailor reads current, angling blades to keep drifts from re-forming where the ground offers no windbreak at all. By the time full daylight reaches the open fields, the lanes they've cleared cut straight black lines across a white county.
