Harbour’s Lawn

About Harbour’s Lawn

Some mornings the low ground around Norwalk holds a shallow fog until the sun burns it off near eight, and every lawn is silver until it does. Harbour's Lawn is out in that window, laying the first tracks of the day across wet grass in Warren County. Cutting to an even height, string trimming along fences and foundations, edging where turf runs up over the sidewalk. A yard mowed in the cool of the morning holds its color better through a hot afternoon, and that is reason enough to start early. The finish is simple and specific: level height, clean lines, nothing left on the concrete.
