About Hot Shot Landscaping, LLC

By late July the cicadas start up in the cottonwoods before the sun is fully over the corridor, and every afternoon carries the chance of a thunderhead stacking up in the west. Hot Shot Landscaping, LLC starts early on those days and moves — mowing while the ground still holds night air, trimming and edging done ahead of the heat, walks and drives blown clear before the first gust arrives. In deep summer the cut goes up a notch so the blades shade their own roots, and fertilization and weed control are timed to the stretch when Iowa turf can actually use them. Mulch goes into the beds to hold what little moisture the day allows. When the storm finally breaks, the yard is already finished and ready to drink.
