About Hawkeye Property Services

October turns the maples along Coralville's old Highway 6 blocks a color you can pick out from three streets away, and then, over about ten days, drops all of it onto the lawns. Hawkeye Property Services works that stretch of the calendar hard — mowing while growth slows, edging, pulling leaves off the grass and out of the corners where the wind stacks them. A property changes once the leaves are gone: the lines come back, the turf shows its shape again, the walk reads white and straight. Through the warm months it is the same rhythm on a shorter interval — a cut, a trim, a clean sweep of the drive, and on to the next. Coralville is a town a lot of people pass through on their way east; the yards along that way are worth the attention.
