Custom Landscapes

About Custom Landscapes

The newer streets keep budding north out of North Liberty toward Swisher, each one a fresh grid of young trees, thin sod and yards that have not decided what they are yet. Custom Landscapes takes them one at a time, because a corner lot on a windy rise and a shaded backyard two blocks over will never want the same cut or the same feeding. Mowing height gets set to the lawn in front of them, beds get an edge cut by hand, mulch goes down where the sun is hardest on the roots. Overseeding and aeration turn builder-grade turf into something with depth to it. Give it a season or two of this and the yard stops looking new and starts looking rooted.
