McDonald's Lawn Service

About McDonald's Lawn Service

Newton evenings in June have an hour all their own, when supper is over, the light goes long and low, and somebody's mower is running two streets away. McDonald's Lawn Service keeps a good share of those streets on a weekly round — cutting, trimming around posts and downspouts, edges run true along the walk. Grass here grows in bursts after a thunderhead rolls up out of the southwest, so the schedule bends to the weather rather than the other way around. Feeding and weed control hold the color even through the dry stretch that always comes in August. Come fall the last cut goes short, and the yard rests.
