About Beyond Borders LLC

New Sharon is small enough that its streets give way to open farmland within a few blocks in almost any direction, and that openness shapes how snow moves through town. Beyond Borders LLC works the edges as much as the center, clearing rural driveways where wind off unbroken fields can drift a foot of snow against a garage door overnight, then returning to the tighter grid of in-town streets where the same storm leaves barely an inch. Mahaska County's flat horizon gives a storm nothing to break it up before it reaches town, so the crew starts early, working outward from wherever the wind piled the most. Each driveway gets taken to the ground rather than skimmed, whether it's a short in-town lot or a long lane running out past the last house. It's steady work here, where the line between yard and field is often just a fence post.
