About Vincent All Seasons Ent.

In October the freight trains through Nevada sound closer than they do in summer, the air thinned out and carrying, the elevators lit at the edge of town while the harvest runs late. Vincent All Seasons Ent. is closing out its lawn season about then, working the short amber hours after four o'clock. The list turns from mowing to leaf work: one last low cut, trimming back the ragged edges, then blowing and hauling the drifts of maple and ash off the turf so it goes into the cold clean and flat. There is real satisfaction in a yard put to bed properly — bare, squared up, waiting. The whole county is doing the same thing on a larger scale, and it is good to be part of the general tidying.
