Whaley's Dust & Weed Control

About Whaley's Dust & Weed Control

Mount Pleasant empties out every Labor Day when the Old Threshers grounds fill with steam engines and crowds, but by winter the fairground sits silent under whatever the season brings, and the town's attention turns back to its own streets. Whaley's Dust & Weed Control works those streets through the cold months, clearing driveways and sidewalks across town with the same steady attention it gives its warm-weather work. Henry County's rolling farmland means storms often arrive trailing wind that drifts snow unevenly across the open fields just outside town, deeper against a tree line than out in the middle of a bare stretch. The crew takes each property down to bare ground rather than a compacted skim, working early enough that Mount Pleasant's morning routines aren't slowed by the night before. It's plain, dependable work in a town defined most of the year by a much louder season than winter.
