Blades Of Green Lawn Service

About Blades Of Green Lawn Service

Come the end of August, the steam whistles out at the Midwest Old Threshers grounds carry clean across Mount Pleasant, and every yard in town suddenly has company coming. Blades Of Green Lawn Service holds that same standard on the ordinary weeks — mowing in even alternating passes, trimming close along foundations and fence lines, edging a walk until the line reads as straight as a chalked string. Southeast Iowa summers arrive humid and all at once: a week of rain that puts three inches on a lawn overnight, then a heat that wants to scorch what it grew. The work is showing up anyway, at the right height, before the seedheads go up and the whole yard turns pale. Clippings blown off the drive, the gate latched behind, and grass that looks like somebody stood back and looked at it.
