Titan Timber Tree & Wood

About Titan Timber Tree & Wood

Mooar is a small Lee County community just upriver from Keokuk, where the Mississippi valley funnels winter wind down along the bluffs. When a storm buries the place overnight, Titan Timber Tree & Wood comes out with snow removal, plowing driveways and clearing the way to the road. Deep winter here has its own sound: the creak of cold timber, the far-off groan of river ice, the scrape of a blade on frozen gravel. The aim is a broad path with the banks pushed well back, so the next snowfall has somewhere to go. Come first light, Mooar's drives are clear and the valley lies bright and still.
