About Simple Land Solutions

Outside Monticello, where the town gives way to the rolling farm ground of Jones County, the land itself does a lot of the work shaping how snow piles up — a rise here, a windbreak there, a fence line that catches everything the field can't hold. Simple Land Solutions works that transition, clearing long farm driveways and rural lanes on the edge of town with the same attention it gives a short in-town drive on one of Monticello's quieter streets. Storms crossing the hills east of the Maquoketa River often leave uneven drifts, deep against one wall of a machine shed and bare pavement ten feet away, and the crew reads each property rather than running one setting over all of them. Mornings start early enough to have the rural routes finished before anyone needs a truck out to the fields. It's straightforward work, matched to whatever a given stretch of ground actually needs that day.
