Abrz's lawn and snow service

About Abrz's lawn and snow service

Missouri Valley sits where the flat river bottom gives way to the first rise of the Loess Hills, and that seam between bottomland and bluff decides a lot about how snow behaves here. Wind funnels down off the hills and across the open fields near the river, turning a modest snowfall into drifts that pile hardest right where the land starts to climb. Abrz's lawn and snow service works both sides of that seam — the level streets near the old rail depot downtown and the sloped lanes climbing toward the bluffs — taking each one down to solid ground rather than skimming the top. Mornings often start before the trains do, plow lights moving through town while the switchyard still sits quiet. By the time Missouri Valley gets moving, the walk to the sidewalk and the drive to the road are already clear, whichever side of the hill they sit on.
