About Nathan Welch Excavating, Inc.

Just south of town, the overlook at Pikes Peak State Park gazes down on the meeting of the Wisconsin and Mississippi rivers, and on a clear day the entire valley seems to glow. Nathan Welch Excavating, Inc., an excavating company, handles mowing and plowing in McGregor. An earthmover's sense of grade suits this rugged ground: a lawn mowed evenly across a pitch, snow pushed off a drive and stacked where it cannot slide back. The year here swings from humid river-valley summers to long gray winters, and each half asks for its own kind of work. Whether it is mowing beneath the bluffs in June or plowing after a December storm, the aim is a property at ease in its landscape.
