About Green Leaf Landscaping
On a June evening at East Park the willows lean out over the lagoon and the fireflies come up out of the grass just as the light gives way. Green Leaf Landscaping works toward that kind of softness in ordinary Mason City yards — planting beds that fill in, mulch dark against fresh green, shrubs shaped so a house sits easily in its own lot. Mowing and trimming on a weekly turn carry it through the growing months, and cleanups open the yard in spring and close it down in fall. Iowa gives a lawn about six months to prove itself, so nothing gets left to chance in the middle of it. The reward is a yard that still looks composed at dusk, hours after the mower has gone.
