About Artisan Landscaping

North of town the Winnebago River runs under the wooded bluffs at Lime Creek, and by late May the whole valley has filled in green from the water up. Artisan Landscaping brings something of that layered look back into Mason City yards: beds shaped to the house, plantings chosen for ground that freezes hard and then blooms fast, mulch laid smooth right to the edge. A design happens on paper and then in soil — a bed line staked in the morning, cut by afternoon, and by evening reading as though it had always been there. Mowing and trimming keep the finished picture honest from one week to the next. It is landscaping meant to look at home in its own yard, not newly arrived.
