Ledford Tree Service

About Ledford Tree Service

When a cold front barrels across the Iowa River valley, Marshalltown can turn from gray to white within the hour, the brick storefronts downtown blurring behind the swirl. Ledford Tree Service, which works in trees, turns to snow removal around Marshalltown in the cold months. Tree crews are used to laboring out in the weather, and opening up drives and sidewalks after a storm draws on that same steadiness. Along Linn Creek and out past Riverview Park the snow piles deep, and every drive cut open is a small path reclaimed. The pride is in the finish: edges squared, banks set back, the evening walk open again.
