Manning Rent-All

About Manning Rent-All

When the wind comes hard and flat across Carroll County's stubble fields, it doesn't stop at Manning's town line, and neither does Manning Rent-All. The crew rolls equipment out before sunrise and works outward from downtown, clearing lots and driveways in the wide, deliberate passes of people who've done the route more times than they'd bother counting. The rail spur and grain elevator on the edge of town are usually the first things to vanish behind blowing snow, and the last to reappear once the plows have been through. A cleared driveway here means someone's pickup gets out to the highway without spinning tires in a drift. Turning a white-choked lot back into ordinary pavement before most of Manning has poured its first cup of coffee doesn't ask for applause, and it gets done anyway, storm after storm.
