About Bobs construction llc

Before Main Street's brick storefronts open their doors, Bobs construction llc has already run a plow blade past them, cutting a clean channel through whatever fell overnight. Manning sits low and flat under big Carroll County sky, and when a northwest wind drives snow across the open fields west of town, it piles first against fence lines and then against every curb downtown. The crew works those curbs and the driveways behind them, pushing snow back out of the way so the next storm has somewhere to land. There's a plain kind of satisfaction in a straight edge along a gravel apron, in a lot scraped down to blacktop before the first pickup truck ever needs to leave the yard. Manning is a small enough town that the same streets get cleared in the same order every time, and that order becomes its own kind of comfort.
