About CJ Lawn Care & More LLC

North of Manchester the ridge at Backbone turns every color it owns in October, while the lawns in town begin their long slide toward dormancy. CJ Lawn Care & More LLC works those closing rounds: a final cut or two at the right height, leaves pulled off the turf before they smother it, edges trimmed back clean along the walks and drives. Northeast Iowa holds its green longer than most of the state, so the season stretches out past what people plan for. Cold mornings, warm afternoons, the smell of a mower deck and wet leaves together. A yard left tidy in November is a gift to whoever looks at it come March.
