About Van Wyk Lawn Services LLC

The South Skunk River slides past the old Wagaman Mill at Lynnville, and in early summer the whole bottom smells like river water and fresh cut grass. Van Wyk Lawn Services LLC works the yards in town and the acreages out along the gravel, mowing on a set week, clipping in tight along fence posts, running the edger down the drive, sweeping the walks before pulling away. Jasper County ground holds its moisture, which means a lawn can put on an astonishing amount of growth between one visit and the next. Staying ahead of that is most of the job. There is a plain pleasure in leaving a place that looks finished.
