About kemp & sons construction llc | excavating | letts, ia

February in Letts can bring snow with real heft to it, wet and dense, laid down over the Louisa County farm country not far from Muscatine. Kemp & Sons Construction LLC is an excavating outfit, used to moving earth by the bucketful, and it brings that muscle to snow too heavy for any shovel. By midday its machines have pushed open driveways and lots, the banks shoved back square and solid. The work is heavy and the result is simple: pavement where there was only white. In a town this size, getting everyone out by lunchtime makes for a good day.
