The Campbell's Group

About The Campbell's Group

Weather in this part of Iowa announces itself early, a wall of cloud stacking up west of Le Mars while the town is still standing in sunlight. The Campbell's Group plans the day around that, taking the open ground first, saving the hand-trimming and the edge work for after, and getting the cuttings off the pavement before rain moves them for you. Big yards and small ones alike, mowed at a height chosen for the week rather than the calendar. When the storm rolls past and the air goes cool and rinsed, a fresh-cut lawn is about the best thing in town to stand and look at. That, in the end, is the whole point of the work.
