The LawnFather

About The LawnFather

Just east of Sioux City, Lawton sits where the land starts to roll, and western Iowa sunsets burn orange across a sky big enough to hold any weather. In summer, The LawnFather looks after the town's yards, mowing them to an even, striped green and trimming each edge into the kind of lawn that makes the neighbors an offer they can't refuse. When the wind comes in off the plains carrying snow, the work turns to clearing drives and walks so nobody in Lawton spends the morning digging out. Two seasons, one name on the job, and a town that looks sharp either way.
